The 6th June sees us leaving Cape tribulation and following up the coast via a visit to Mossman Gourge, Mareeba Wetlands and Jabira Safari Lodge.
We had a lake tour the boat (see pictures) and a jeep safari, covering 12 Km.
Got loads of info on the huge variety of wildlife, plants and indigenous species. We found that the Euciliptus tree can be used in fishing!! The leaves can be made into a soap-type product that can be broken down and uesd to draw the oxygen from the water. (easy when you know how!!)
